Just got this from a friend...  I guess this one is of no secret.  If you google by the word "Wrong Bank", you'll find that it is hosted everywhere.  I am impressed not only by the Thai humor, but also by the advertised subject at the end of the story...

I called my broadband customer service today.  As usual, it was a sweet female voice broadcasting the latest promotional offer.  It was so sweet that I almost wanted to marry the girl immediately, even though it was just a machine talking.  After pressing thru a few numbers, I reached a human operator.  As usual, s/he was so courteous that I almost broke into tears.  They were so friendly that they won't let me go with just a simple bye bye because they have to complete all the due diligence in the handbook - just to make sure that there is no room for complaint.  As usual, as usual.

Site idle for 2+ months...  Supposedly quite a few things to write - about my recent tests on some mini-ITX systems and also the WTO disturbance (hey, it's far from being called a "riot" as stated by the Hong Kong Police.  We don't need to follow closely the PRC standards by exaggerating a simple matter for justifying a police action!)

However, it's Xmas/New_Year time - So, I treat my wife and myself an accidental trip to Macau instead (just an hour's trip from Hong Kong by sea).  Wine & food make the day...
